Discussion of how the images would show on the webpage.

The whole group decided on three possibilites on how we could approach this.

Around 40-50 images have been sent to us from the external client to be used on the website. They are images of tables for different special occasions such as Christmas, wedding, birthdays, Halloween, Corporate etc.
Firstly we had an idea of putting all the tables were on one page.

Another idea was that to show some of the more attractive tables then put a CSS drop down menus underneath the table images. Each one with a different theme. Christmas, weddings, birthdays, Halloween, corporate. So the user can scroll through the different tables in a particular theme and find the one they are looking for.

Finally we had an idea of when the mouse hovers over a image, a lightbox effects occurs with the image of the table inside, but it is zoomed in, so the customer can have a much better look at it.

As a group we decided not to show all the tables on one page because the page would go on for ages.This wouldn't look like a very good website. Secondly we decided not to do the CSS drop down menu because after you click on a table and its not the right one they were looking for, they had to go back a page. Finally we decided to use the lightbox effect, as its a much more time efficiency process of browsing through the images.
